Elephants are the dog here, and cobras the cat. If Defjam didn't feed his elephant hot cross buns it would die. the cobra, by way of contrast, would be fine.

True NS - bit of an oversight that. In all seriousness do you think that your dog would die unless you were around to feed him/her? Most cats would probably get by. Does strike me that the basis for having a dog in essence is that 'I'll keep you alive as long as you worship me'.

The cats have turned the table on the dogs on my manor. We have 5 dogs the neighbors, when I say neighbors I don't mean an adjoining semi. I mean a house separated from us by a river , Banana and mango trees and a spattering of Jungle. Anyway they started off with a couple of cats, kittens came of course and my dogs killed a couple. However they have bred and bred and bred and now there is about 30 cats strutting around and the dogs are going through a kind of Zulu Dawn scenario. They wont even chase them anymore. I like dogs but I love cats , their "Don't give a fuck" selfish attitude just cracks me up

I don't really like cats but we got one a few years ago for my daughter. She loves it, feeds it etc.. I barely ever see it and don't have to do anything. This parenting lark is a doodle.
